Film: Phantom from Space (1953)

Summary: People on Earth are bad enough when it comes to invisibility, so imagine what happens when beings from other worlds get their hands on it. However, once again, man can't help but point its weapons at the weirdo, in this case one unseen to the naked eye without his suit.

History: This "phantom" came from space only to crash land straight into our world. After recovering, the poor guy ended up getting his suit taken away from him for human observation. On a desperate quest to deliver a message to the humans via tapping code, the alien tried everything in his power to get that suit.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After being away from his suit for too long, the phantom climbs up to his ship, futilely tapping out his message one last time before suffocating to death and collapsing on the floor. The humans think nothing of this. Go figure.

Powers/Abilities: The phantom, being a silicon-based life form apparently, can attract metal with its mind, and of course, remain invisible to human eyes.

Weakness: Anything conventional, though prolonged exposure to the Earth's atmosphere is a sure-fire way to kill him.

Scariness Factor: 1.5-The scuba-like helmet floating around pretty much sums up the extent of this thing's scariness potential. Mainly, not much. It also appears to be not be very harmful unless provoked.

Trivia: -The film was made by Billy Wilder's lesser brother W.Lee Wilder.

-The phantom was played by Dick Sands, who starred in nothing made outside the early 50's.
